Defaulting client
Client debts tend to be lost over time: the older the claim, the harder it is to find the debtor's assets. Organized collection, from the notice to enforcement with seizure of funds, increases the chance of recovery.
Weak contract
Many business disputes arise from generic contracts copied from the internet or outdated. Reviewing contracts before the problem usually costs far less than the lawsuit it avoids.
Partners without rules
Companies without a shareholders' agreement are vulnerable in case of disagreement, departure, death or divorce of a partner. The shareholders' agreement and, when appropriate, the holding organize these situations before they turn into conflict.
Company sued
Summonses have short deadlines, and missing them can lead the judge to take the facts alleged against the company as true. Once a summons or notice is received, the time to seek guidance is immediately, so no chance of defense is lost.
Frequently asked questions about business law
What size and sector of companies do you serve?
From sole proprietors and small companies to groups with multiple entities, in sectors such as fuel stations, construction, industry, beverage distribution, shopping centers, condominiums, dental clinics, retail and agribusiness. We also defend companies and business owners in bank enforcement actions and collections.
Is there a monthly retainer?
Yes. For companies with recurring needs, we offer a monthly retainer covering contracts, day-to-day questions and follow-up of routines, with terms set out in a written proposal according to the expected volume.
My company is not in Goiás. Is that a problem?
Not at all. Service is fully digital and the firm handles cases throughout Brazil, with the responsible attorney admitted to the Bar in Goiás, the Federal District and São Paulo and practicing before the higher courts in Brasília.
How are fees charged?
It depends on the matter: one-off work has a fixed fee; collections may combine a reduced fixed fee with a success percentage on what is recovered; and advisory work is monthly. In all cases, the proposal comes in writing before any engagement.
Is my company's information protected?
Yes. Everything shared is protected by attorney-client confidentiality, even if no engagement follows, and data is processed under the LGPD.
